So... our cats have at least 2 litters of kittens every spring and these precious little babies are so sweet and loveable. I really enjoy watching them as they grow and begin wrestling with their siblings and learning to socialize with the other cats and with our big dog, Trixie. It's especially sweet to watch the "Daddy cats" with the babies. When Bonnie had her litter, Jamal (a big, silky, beautiful black cat with white markings) was so attentive. He'd lay by her and the babies in the hay and would even sometimes throw an arm over her as if to comfort her and let her know that he was there for her. It was just too sweet. Then when Calypso had her litter... he did the same thing. What a stand up guy! ha ha. He's ready and willing to jump in and be a daddy to all these kittens, even if they're not his. I love it! He is one of the most precious boy cats we've ever had. He doesn't get under your feet when you're outside, he just keeps to himself unless you call him and then he purrs away and gets really lovy. Actually we have a pretty nice cat "herd" right now... the only problem is - who needs 10 cats? Yeah, they're outdoors... but still... that's too many!! Hence! FREE KITTENS!! This ad went on nex-tech classifies and posters will be hung in an effort to find new homes for 3 kittens and a grown up cat. It was hard to choose who stays and who goes, so the kids each got to pick one to keep. Ciara will be keeping a sweet little girl named Jasmine who is a black, orange, grayish tan and white calico looking cat. She is a pretty little thing! The only thing I don't like about her is that she always distracts Shoogie when she is out doing her "business". GRR. I hate that!! Brandon is keeping a little orange kitten that he named Sasquatch. What a name, poor kitty! ha ha. So the ones that are finding new homes are "Ozzie, Van Halen, Daisy and Vinnie". They will likely get new names, but no matter... I hope we will find someone to love them. Wish us luck!!
